Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) travel position requiring active MO or Compact licensure and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units is required
• On-call responsibilities are required
• At least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract must be worked
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a PCU or progressive care setting
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more

• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may qualify for a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
• This is an active, physical role in a 24/7 healthcare environment with potential exposure to contagious illnesses
• Rotating shifts and coverage during inclement weather may be required
