Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with trauma and neuro experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based IR unit in South Florida.
Details
- Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
- Cases include stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies and embolizations, and trauma
- Canon/Toshiba equipment experience preferred
- Epic EMR — experience required
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- On-call required 2 days per week and up to 2 weekends per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent IR experience required
- OR experience required
- Trauma and neuro interventional experience required
- ARRT (Radiographer) certification required
- ACLS and BLS through AHA or ARC required
- Epic EMR experience required
- FL RRT license or compact equivalent required — license required if applicable
- Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment prior to starting
- Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses
Additional Information
- Perform neuro interventional procedures including stroke intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations, as well as trauma cases
- All certifications must be current and in hand
- Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a local rate
- Basic Arrhythmia assessment is pass/fail; candidates who do not score 100% on the lethal rhythm section may be required to retake a dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and must achieve an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
