Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with trauma and neuro experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based IR unit in South Florida.

Details

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
• Cases include stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies and embolizations, and trauma
• Canon/Toshiba equipment experience preferred
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required 2 days per week and up to 2 weekends per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent IR experience required
• OR experience required
• Trauma and neuro interventional experience required
• ARRT (Radiographer) certification required
• ACLS and BLS through AHA or ARC required
• Epic EMR experience required
• FL RRT license or compact equivalent required — license required if applicable
• Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment prior to starting
• Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses

Additional Information

• Perform neuro interventional procedures including stroke intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations, as well as trauma cases
• All certifications must be current and in hand
• Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a local rate
• Basic Arrhythmia assessment is pass/fail; candidates who do not score 100% on the lethal rhythm section may be required to retake a dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and must achieve an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
