Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care position requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- 13-week assignment length
- May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Stepdown/Telemetry unit based on skill set and facility need
- Floating required within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Same credentialing accepted for both Med-Surg and Stepdown RN skill sets
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care on a Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- COVID vaccination is not required
