Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Main Operating Room position requiring robotic, orthopedic, and multi-specialty surgical experience with call requirements.

Details

• Main Operating Room setting in a hospital environment
• Surgical specialties include robotic (Xi), orthopedic, trauma, general/GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, neuro/spine, and vascular
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule runs Tuesday through Friday
• Call requirement: 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3+ years of OR experience strongly preferred
• Experience with the da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system required
• Multi-specialty OR experience required, including orthopedic, trauma, neuro/spine, and vascular
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana and CBD products — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
• Certifications must be current and on file
