Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma, 200-bed specialty care hospital in Marquette, MI.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab (Cardiac Imaging department) at a Level II Trauma, 200-bed specialty care hospital in Marquette, MI
- Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, and heart disease
- Procedures include angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, intravascular ultrasound, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, right and left heart catheterization, structural heart procedures, vascular interventional procedures, EP studies, and emergency procedures
- EMR systems used are Merge Hemo and Cerner
- Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with a shift end time of 5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call required on weekends; must be able to report within 30 minutes of being called in
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred; will train candidates with relevant foundational experience
- Active BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
- RCIS certification accepted
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
Additional Information
- 13-week contract with a 4x10-hour shift schedule
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- The hospital is located in Marquette, MI — the largest community in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and home to Northern Michigan University
