Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Los Alamos, NM, requiring a minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience and an active NM or Compact RN license.

Details

  • Emergency Room department at a 47-bed acute care hospital serving as a major healthcare provider for Northern New Mexico
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract duration

Requirements

  • Active NM or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
  • AHA certifications required and must be in hand prior to consideration, as they are not available on-site
  • Social Security number required for consideration
  • Date of birth required for consideration
  • All clinical staff working in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • Travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while fingerprint background check results are pending, but must be supervised during that time
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
  • Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
