Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Dublin, GA, requiring ARRT with CT Registry and the ability to perform CT scans with and without contrast.

Details

• Work in a CT Scan department at a 190-bed acute care hospital serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations via 2 CT units
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Primary procedures include CT scans with and without contrast and X-ray imaging; CT-guided biopsies are also performed
• GE CT equipment is used
• Documentation system is Meditech with Centricity PACS
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Tech experience (must have worked in the role within the last 6 months)
• ARRT certification and CT Registry required
• Ability to perform CT scans with and without contrast
• Ability to perform X-ray imaging
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• The facility holds ACR accreditation and has been recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and received an 'A' for Patient Safety from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide
• Department scrubs are navy blue
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
