Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital in Texas.
Details
- Children's hospital setting at a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 beds
- CT Scan unit with a patient ratio of 1:5
- Pediatric acute care and trauma patient population
- Uses Siemens CT scanner and Epic EMR
- 7-day block schedule running Thursday through Wednesday: 4x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) Thursday through Sunday, and 3x10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM–7:00 PM) Monday through Wednesday
- Weekend shifts required (Saturday and Sunday)
- No on-call required
- No floating between units within this assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Pediatric acute care and trauma experience preferred
- Proficiency with Siemens CT scanner
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active TX license required if applicable
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travelers may be expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Scrub color for this role follows facility guidelines — confirm applicable color upon placement
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space; bike racks also available
