Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Lexington, KY, requiring 2-3 years of recent cath lab experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Works in a Cardiac Cath Lab performing caths, angioplasty, interventions, TEEs, cardioversions, and related cardiac procedures
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00am–5:30pm
• On-call requirements are part of this position
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation
• 2-3 years of recent experience in a busy cath lab strongly preferred
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• Proficiency with computer systems and clinical applications, or ability to be trained

• The Cardiac Cath Lab is part of a broader cardiac service line that includes EP Lab and CV Observation, supporting a full range of advanced cardiac procedures
• The CV Observation unit provides pre/post-op care with a focus on whole-person healing
• Responsibilities include patient assessment and reassessment, care planning, patient and family education, discharge coordination, and delegation to team members
• Nursing practice is evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines
