Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring telemetry background and at least 2 years of med/surg experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical/Surgical unit (Nursing Unit 001) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience required
• Telemetry background required with ability to read telemetry strips
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
• Current license and primary source verification via Nursys required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a medical/surgical unit including monitoring telemetry as needed
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies; local candidates may be accepted at a reduced rate
• Travelers should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Covid vaccination is not required
