Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist with 3+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program in Maryland.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift, 5x8 schedule with shifts running 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday–Saturday schedule preferred; Monday–Friday candidates considered if willing to work one to two Saturdays per month with a flex weekday off
- One weekend day required per month
- Floating to other areas required on an as-needed basis
- Patient population includes stroke, SCI, amputee, and general rehabilitation cases
- CARF-accredited rehabilitation program
- Cerner/MedConnect EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active Maryland OT license required in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 3 years of OT experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
- At least one prior travel assignment required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience treating stroke, SCI, amputee, and general rehab patient populations
Additional Information
- Fast-paced inpatient rehab environment
- Any scrub color is acceptable except the nursing blue/white combination
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront
