Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Vascular IR position requiring 12+ months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience and active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification.

Details

• Hospital or medical center setting in Iowa
• Vascular interventional radiology (IR) lab unit
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• On-call required every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating across campuses required as needed
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of vascular interventional/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Minimum 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Peripheral vascular experience required
• Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring required
• Current or prior OR procedure support experience required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Active ARRT (R) or RCIS/CCI required; ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; candidates currently pursuing licensure will be considered (issuance timeline varies: 48 hours to 4 weeks if non-active)
• Active BLS (AHA or ARC) preferred
• Active certifications required at time of consideration
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred
• License required if applicable

• First-time travelers are welcomed for this position
• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the 12 months prior to submission may not be eligible for consideration
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
