Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience for a full-time, Monday–Friday echocardiography lab position requiring RDCS or CCI certification and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Echocardiography laboratory setting within a Level 1 Trauma hospital
- Monday–Friday day shift schedule, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Rotational weekend shifts required
- Holiday coverage is negotiable
- 26-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
- RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
- Critique image positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain acceptable imaging quality standards
- Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness, with thorough documentation practices
- Cross-training to other divisions of Cardiovascular Services is expected
- Candidates must be able to prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow
- Candidates who have been on continuous assignment at this facility for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract period
- Candidates will be interviewed by the facility leader prior to selection
