Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience for a full-time, Monday–Friday echocardiography lab position requiring RDCS or CCI certification and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Echocardiography laboratory setting within a Level 1 Trauma hospital
• Monday–Friday day shift schedule, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Rotational weekend shifts required
• Holiday coverage is negotiable
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
• Critique image positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain acceptable imaging quality standards
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness, with thorough documentation practices
• Cross-training to other divisions of Cardiovascular Services is expected
• Candidates must be able to prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow
• Candidates who have been on continuous assignment at this facility for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract period
• Candidates will be interviewed by the facility leader prior to selection
