Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Details

Operating Room (OR) position within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule
13-week assignment
Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
Every other weekend availability may be required at the request of the Department Manager or Supervisor

Requirements

Active Maine (ME) or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS (ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask required
Bachelor's degree preferred

Additional Information

Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
Telemetry experience is preferred
Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility, after which a minimum 26-week break is required before returning
