Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience and firm ARRT and CT certifications for a 13-week night shift contract in Santa Barbara, CA.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient hospital CT setting
- Patient population spans neonates through geriatrics
- Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Documents in Epic EMR
- Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- No on-call or floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT certification and CT certification required (firm requirements)
- Both inpatient and outpatient work setting experience required
- Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsies
- Experience with GE Revolution Scanner and GE HD 750 required (firm requirement)
- Epic EMR experience required
- CA license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform a full range of CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Clean scrubs of any color are required
- No RTO will be approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract; all RTO requests for the full contract length must be submitted upfront
- Note: Santa Barbara has a high cost of living — candidates are encouraged to research living expenses prior to applying
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
