Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and travel nursing experience.
Details
- Night shift position, 7pm–7:30am
- 13-week contract
- Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit in an acute care hospital setting
- PCU and Med-Surg Telemetry patient population; placement on the unit with the greatest need based on traveler skill set
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Floating required within skill set to other units onsite or to sister facilities within 40 miles
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (both must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Will accept candidates with either a Med-Surg or Stepdown RN background, as credentialing is the same for both skill sets
- Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
