Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a diagnostic radiology position requiring hospital and trauma experience, with proficiency in both adult and pediatric X-ray imaging.
Details
- Diagnostic radiology department within a large acute care hospital setting
- Adult and pediatric patient population requiring X-ray imaging
- Hospital and trauma experience required; OR and orthopedic experience a plus
- Night shift schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Maryland state license required if applicable
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification through AHA required
- Experience with both adult and pediatric X-ray imaging required
- Hospital and trauma setting experience required
- Experience at a facility with 500+ beds required
- Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform radiographic exams for diagnosis and treatment
- Provides patient care and obtains images using digital radiography (DR) imaging technology
- Works under general supervision of a Chief and Senior Technologist
- OR and orthopedic imaging experience is a plus
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
