Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist with 4 years of experience and required OB/GYN certification for a travel assignment in Oregon.

Details

• General ultrasound unit in a hospital setting
• OB and abdominal ultrasound procedures required
• Swing/Graveyard shift with variable start times between 12:00 PM and 5:30 AM
• 4x10 hour shifts
• Epic EMR required — no exceptions
• May float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be able to perform OB ultrasound
• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required — permanent or temporary; no pending licenses accepted
• ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors, and supportive devices
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccination required — no exemptions
• License required if applicable

• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent for review; additional requests may result in cancellation
• Previous employees of the facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• 13-week minimum contract length; longer contracts may be available
