Description
American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR and Neuro experience for a Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit with a focus on Neuro IR procedures
- Handle a daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response radius
- No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience required
- BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
- ARRT VI certification required
- ACLS and CCI RCIS certifications preferred
- License required if applicable
- Radiation badge required, to be supplied by the agency
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Information
- Facility is a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must live within 60 miles of the facility to be considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced bill rate
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
- During hurricane season (June-November), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
