Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Float position in Urbana, IL, requiring at least 1 year of RN experience, Level 1 Trauma experience, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Float position covering various inpatient units including Med/Surg, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICU (as applicable)
- Every other weekend shifts required
- Every other holiday shift required
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma facility experience required
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Floats to various inpatient units and precepts staff from other units as needed
- Conducts patient assessments, develops and modifies care plans, and coordinates with multidisciplinary team members
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
- Candidates who have been on continuous assignment with this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system
