Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist with ARRT & MR registration and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift assignment in Anchorage, AK.
Details
- Located in the Radiology Department of an approximately 185-bed acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK
- Monday through Thursday night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM (4x10.5-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
- Procedures include MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia, and pacemaker imaging
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Equipment includes a GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner
- EMR: Epic; PACS: McKesson
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience; 3+ years preferred
- Active ARRT certification with MR registration required
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- Grey or pewter scrubs required
- Ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient-centered, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality imaging
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role they are applying for
