Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient medical-surgical facility in Massachusetts, requiring 10+ years of case management experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Inpatient medical-surgical setting with a 200-bed adult patient population
• Case Management unit focused on utilization management and discharge planning
• Clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:15
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm shift
• Up to every other weekend commitment required
• Floating required
• No rotating shifts
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum 10 years of RN experience required
• Case management, utilization management, and discharge planning skills required
• BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross is not accepted at this facility
• Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred
• Active MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — both NURSYS and BON verification required
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide inpatient case management services including utilization review and discharge planning for adult medical-surgical patients
• Timekeeping conducted via UKG/Kronos
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
• Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at daily rates, and public transportation is encouraged
