Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at an acute care hospital, requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 230 staffed beds
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, hospice, post-op abdominal and OBGYN surgery, UTI, colitis, and SBO
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope to like units may be required
• Charting performed in Epic
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a different rate

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending license not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
