Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at an acute care hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 230 staffed beds
• Med/Surg Tele unit caring for patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, hospice, post-op abdominal and OBGYN surgery, UTI, colitis, and SBO
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope to like units is required
• Charting via Epic
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a different rate

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Time off requests are subject to manager's discretion
• All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
