Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical (Acute Medicine Unit) position in Georgia, requiring a GA or compact RN license and excluding candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
Details
- Work setting is an Acute Medicine Unit (Med/Surg) in a hospital environment
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
- 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
- No on-call responsibilities
- No local candidates — candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements
- Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
- AHA certifications required and must not be expired
- Med/Surg or Acute Care nursing experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- EMR experience should be noted; familiarity with the facility's system is expected
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
