Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position on an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a valid GA or compact RN license.
Details
- 13-week contract on a 34-bed Acute Medicine (Med/Surg) Unit
- 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- All private rooms with telemetry capability
- Care provided 24/7
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides acute medical/surgical care across a diverse patient population with telemetry monitoring capability
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- References are not required at time of application but will be needed during the compliance process
