Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC, requiring broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines and on-call availability.

Details

• Position is based in a large, 815-bed hospital Operating Room department
• Serves as the region's busiest robotic surgery program and only Level II trauma center
• Broad surgical service lines include general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Shift hours are 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM on a variable schedule
• On-call is required
• Floating to other departments may be required
• Charting is performed in Cerner

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
