Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position in Wisconsin, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in Epic, with on-call responsibilities including every 3rd weekend.

Details

Hospital-based surgical unit
Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible)
On-call required based on department needs, currently averaging 1–2 shifts per week during the day
Every 3rd weekend on call, spanning Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
Holiday coverage fulfilled through on-call rotation based on department needs
Experience required across multiple surgical specialties: general, robotics, GYN, ortho/podiatry, organ procurement, and endoscopy
EMR: Epic (experience required)
Floating may be required within skill set, either on-site or to facilities within 40 miles

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license (currently in hand)
BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Social Security Number and a US home address required

Additional Information

13-week contract
Candidate must provide a copy of their driver's license, 2 professional references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications and license verification for consideration
Nursys verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start; any disciplinary actions require additional documentation
Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
COVID-19 vaccination is not required
