Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a CT (Computed Tomography) unit
- Charting performed in Allscripts EMR
- GE imaging equipment used
- 12-hour shifts; weekday shifts run 9:30 AM–10:30 PM or 10:30 AM–11:00 PM, and weekend shifts run 6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Two weekends per month required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being eligible to apply
- Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without taking a 2-year break
- Radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by the agency prior to the start of the assignment, as the facility does not supply one
- Dress code permits any solid-color pants and a solid or appropriately printed scrub top
- All candidates interview directly with a unit manager
