Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 16-week travel contract requiring expertise in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT procedures with on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital setting
• Case types include General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT surgeries
• Pediatric surgical experience is preferred
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) with rotating days off
• Schedule varies week to week — block scheduling is not available
• On-call responsibilities are required

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT OR procedures is required
• Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years are required for consideration
• Flexibility with a variable weekly schedule is required

Additional Information

• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Certifications must be current and available upon request
