Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL) travel position in Miami, FL, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• Located in the Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL) unit of a hospital setting in Miami, FL
• 13-bed unit staffed by RNs and Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs)
• Procedures performed include LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and EP studies
• Patient ratio is 1:3
• Equipment used includes Philips and GE systems
• Documentation systems: Meditech and Mac Lab
• Day shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or until all cases are completed
• On-call required after hours, weekdays, every other weekend, and major holidays
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license (must be currently in hand)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (due to Florida state requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred
• Prior travel experience is a plus
