Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Telemetry position on a North 6 unit, requiring a minimum of 3 years of MedSurg Tele experience and strong telemetry and neuro skills.
Details
- Work in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit (North 6) of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry patients with neurological cases
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Floating possible to similar units
- No on-call requirements
- Meditech EMR — strong experience preferred
Requirements
- Active MA RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of MedSurg Telemetry experience required
- Strong telemetry and neuro experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Active MA RN license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Telemetry competency test administered on the first day of orientation
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a local (discounted) pay rate
