Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of diagnostic and interventional cardiology experience and an active AZ or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a Cardiac Cath Lab at a 90-bed hospital in Sierra Vista, AZ
• Adult patient population with a focus on coronary artery disease (CAD) and interventional cardiology
• Cath Lab staff are responsible for covering cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
• Occasional IR procedures including vascular embolization, port placement, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube placement
• Preferred skills include experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• On-call required; call requirements exceed 12 days
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to IR on an occasional basis
• EMR: Cerner
• Fluoroscopy equipment: GE; hemodynamics transitioning to a new system
• Hospital-provided scrubs

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required
• RCIS or RRT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab nursing
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures required
• IR experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
