Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 1 year of experience for a rehab setting position requiring active licensure and BLS certification.

Details

  • Rehabilitation setting
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Traveler must be open to working any day of the week, as self-scheduling is not available
  • 50 hours of experience required weekly

Requirements

  • Active SLP license (license required if applicable)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current BLS certification
  • Social Security number (full SSN preferred; last 4 digits acceptable)
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Date of birth (DOB) required for consideration
  • One reference required for consideration
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification may be required depending on unit assignment; accepted credentials include a Blue Card from CPI or MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent employees must obtain MSP approval prior to being considered
  • RTO requests should be kept to fewer than 7 days for the duration of the contract
