Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Case Management position requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and an NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute hospital case management unit
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, no exceptions
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract
• Average daily census of 20 patients on weekdays and 70 on weekends

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACM or CCM certification preferred
• BSN preferred; graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• Acute hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, care planning, utilization review, and discharge planning to promote continuity of care and cost-effectiveness
• The role requires a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail, adaptability to frequent change, and compliance with regulatory and departmental guidelines
• Orientation is 24 hours

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
