Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift, long-term travel assignment requiring 18 months of experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit on the 5th floor of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in each shift
• No on-call responsibilities required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
