Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and an active FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) unit with 3 cath labs
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Unit staffed with 8 RNs, 5 techs, 2 lead techs, and 1 CNC on day shift
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Uses GE equipment
- EMR systems used include MacLab and Meditech
- Performs procedures such as PCI, structural heart, and diagnostic caths
- Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS certification

- Located in a Level II Trauma Center
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization environment
- Great teamwork and strong physician collaboration on the unit
- Ideal candidates are energetic and have a positive personality
- RN scrub color is navy blue
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
