Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a short-term acute care hospital position requiring ARRT or CCI RCIS certification and active Cerner experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call is required approximately 10–11 days per month
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Active ACLS required
• ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certification required
• Active Indiana or Compact license required in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable; pending state licenses are not accepted
• Cerner charting experience required
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• AHA and RQI certifications are accepted and must be current
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
• Any permanent or PRN employee of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Current or past IU Health travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a designated break before resetting travel eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and Indiana residents require a 180-day break, and the break must be taken consecutively
