Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring IL RN licensure and a minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Assignment in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Night shift schedule, 7pm-7:30am, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
- Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
- May float to other affiliated hospital locations within the health system
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic EMR charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of nursing care
- Identifies and reports safety hazards and incidents
- Offers constructive feedback to peers and participates in ongoing professional development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates not accepted
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers limited to 1 year of continuous assignment at this health system before requiring a 6-month break in service
