Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Epic used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care in the OR setting
• Performs delegated medical functions, patient teaching, health counseling, and care coordination including consultation, delegation, and supervision
• Refers patients as needed and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Allow approximately 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results; candidates should report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
