Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center, with experience in a wide variety of inpatient and ED CT imaging required.
Details
- Work in a hospital CT department serving a wide variety of cases from a Level III Trauma Center ED
- Patient population includes adult inpatient, ICU, and emergency department cases
- Daily caseload of approximately 160 cases
- Required imaging areas include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Preferred experience includes outpatient, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, pediatric settings (NICU/PICU), biopsies, aspirations/drainage, and myelography
- 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Cerner EMR used; experience required
- Preferred: GE scanner/equipment experience
Requirements
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certifications required; AHA and RQI accepted
- Minimum 18 months of CT Technologist experience
- Experience in inpatient, ER, and community hospital settings required
- Adult ICU experience required
- Proficiency with PACS and IV contrast required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Indiana RN license or Compact license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted for this Allied position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, prior to reaching the traveler's year mark
