Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Medical Surgical position at an off-campus ambulatory cardiology clinic in Mount Vernon, KY, requiring cardiology experience and a KY or compact RN license.

• Off-campus ambulatory cardiology clinic setting in Mount Vernon, KY
• Cardiology-focused outpatient clinic serving patients with acute and chronic health conditions
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 14-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license, in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• Clean licensure history required — no licensure hits will be accepted
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

• Position operates in a fast-paced, patient-centered ambulatory environment with emphasis on quality, safety, and service
• Working knowledge of nursing and departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is essential for success
• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — no RTO requests will be approved after submission
