Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week acute care assignment in Diagnostic Radiology, requiring 2+ years of experience including ED/Trauma, portables, and OR.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a Diagnostic Radiology unit
- Experience in ED/Trauma, portable imaging, and OR required
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Charting via Cerner EMR
- Manager interview required prior to placement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
- AZ license in hand preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; a driver's license is used to verify permanent address
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including ED/Trauma studies, portable exams, and OR imaging
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
