Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care hospital CT department, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with two CT scan rooms — one within the main department and one in the Emergency Department
• Uses Aquilion Toshiba 64-slice scanners
• Average of 80–100 patient exams per day
• 8-hour shift rotations covering days, afternoons, and possible nights, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Charting system: Cerner

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
• A copy of an unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Gray scrubs required
• Radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by the staffing agency — the facility does not supply one
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before applying; cumulative experience applies and travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one year total
• Any background history must be disclosed upfront prior to consideration
• A skills checklist completed within the past year and 2 professional references (including at least 1 supervisor reference) are required for consideration
