Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Radiology - CT department featuring 5 scanners/rooms
• Level I Trauma center
• Wide variety of CT imaging studies and procedures performed across the department
• Average of 25 scans/studies per day
• IV placement required
• Uses Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• GE and Siemens CT equipment on-site
• In-house radiologist support available
• 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM; no call required
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• May be required to float to outpatient areas and, in cases of extreme need, within the Zone 3 float zone (OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• Active state or compact (NLC) license if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; a driver's license is required to verify permanent address
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a broad range of CT imaging studies and procedures across an active radiology department
• Orientation consists of 12 hours; clinicians must be present in-state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote
• Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
• Rad badge provided by agency
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Travelers are expected to float within their assigned zone and are responsible for securing housing that allows them to meet this requirement
