Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical ICU position in Worcester, MA, requiring SICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Surgical ICU (SICU) setting at a high-acuity, busy hospital
- Patient population includes trauma and transplant cases
- Patient ratio is 1:1-2
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00), with a plan to transition to day shift after approximately one month
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to other adult ICUs and stepdown units as needed
- Charting is done in Epic
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- SICU experience is required; candidates with previous travel experience AND Level I Trauma experience may also be considered
- Must be able to pass a pass/fail EKG/telemetry test at orientation (one attempt allowed)
- Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Candidate must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
