Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring 2 years of experience and night shift availability with every-other-weekend scheduling.

Details

• Works in an Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every-other-weekend (EOW) and every-other-holiday (EOH) required
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• May float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU within skill set
• Patient assignments may include Med/Surg/IMC levels of care as needed
• May be required to float to off-site locations within 40 miles
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides critical care nursing to ICU patients, with assignments tailored to clinician skill set
• Floating responsibilities include Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, and potentially off-site facilities within 40 miles
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
