Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Works in the Operating Room (OR) department of a hospital setting
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active RN license — Colorado single-state or compact license required (no pending licenses)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including health teaching, counseling, and therapy
• Performs delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
