Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist (Echo) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a current RDCS (Adult Echo) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Alaska.
Details
- Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department setting
- Modalities include Echo and Radiologic Technology
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift with no call required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist with Echo focus
- RDCS (Adult Echo) certification required
- Multimodality certification preferred
- BLS/BCLS required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited ECHO training program required
- Flu vaccine required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography and radiographic examinations for diagnostic interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection
- Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Maintain patient records and files, and support departmental quality assurance
- Work with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
- Fingerprint processing is required prior to starting — candidates should be prepared to submit fingerprint cards promptly upon acceptance, as the start date will be no less than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
