Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience across multiple patient populations for an evening shift contract position at an acute care hospital.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan unit serving outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings
- Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; NICU and PICU exposure preferred
- 4x9 hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- Uses PACS; contrast administration experience required
- Biopsies and IV starts preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) required
- Experience across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings required
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required; neonatal and infant experience preferred
- PACS and contrast administration experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Driver's license and copies of certifications required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed
- Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
